Sergey Zhukov, the charismatic and "incendiary" leader of the team, has become an unsurpassed idol for hundreds of thousands of girls. At each concert, the members of the Hands Up! group could create a friendly atmosphere filled with drive, dance singles and an “explosive” wave of rhythm. Everyone who attended the "live" performances of the group never forgot this incomparable session and that inner feeling when you are just having fun and "cool". Until 2006, the group consisted of two soloists. It was a unique leader and inspirer - Sergey Zhukov and a talented vocalist and musician - Alexei Potekhin. The guys met in Samara, where each of them acted as the host of the program on the Europa Plus radio. Alexey was more fond of humorous topics, and Sergey - musical ones. Together, two talented young people create a truly brilliant show - the group "Hands Up!". How did the team name come about? The guys signed their first demo tape with songs: “our music will make you put your hands up”, after which they transferred it to one of the popular radio stations. When the radio hosts put the group's composition on the air, they called the guys that. Meet the young group - "Hands Up!". The song "Baby" reached megapopularity. She immediately entered the rotation of radio stations and held on to leading positions. The next hit was the composition "Student". The grandiose success "covered the guys with their heads." The most prestigious producers invited the guys on tour around the country and on foreign tours. Grateful spectators were waiting for Sergei and Alexei everywhere. Concert tickets sold out at lightning speed. A soloist for women's parts, Elizaveta Rodnyanskaya, was invited to the team. Songs recorded with her vocals: "Move your body", "Song", "Student".
