Arthur Best

Arthur BEST is an author and performer, singer, composer, arranger and sound producer.

Artur was born on November 23, 1980 in Kapan, Armenia, into a musical family: mom and dad were famous performers in the region, and Artur, in the truest sense of the word, grew up on stage: “When my parents sang, I constantly ran around the stage, and no one could catch me, ”the musician recalls with a smile. As expected in a creative family, Arthur studied piano at a music school, but not for long, because of the hostilities, the family was forced to move. On June 20, 1992, the city was subjected to mortar shelling, Artur was hospitalized with numerous injuries, after which, for further treatment, he needed to move to Russia. So, on December 31, 1992, the singer and his family flew to the Rostov region in the city of Shakhty, where he continued his studies at school. There they noticed the musical abilities of the artist and were invited to the city brass band as a singer. But at that moment Arthur was more attracted to drumming and the future artist achieved what he wanted - he took the vacant position of a drummer. Soon, however, Artur became a soloist in the brass band of the city of Shakhty and successfully performed as a singer. The first appearance on the big stage took place in 1995 in the city of St. Petersburg, when Arthur, together with his father and brother, performed at the Schlager 95 festival.

The city of Shakhty, St. Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Moscow, again St. Petersburg and again Moscow - in all these cities Arthur Best spent his childhood and youth in turn. The singer ended up in the capital only in 2000, decided to stay and entered in 2002 at the pop-jazz vocals of the Institute of Contemporary Art. Gnesins, who graduated in 2006.

Today Arthur is very popular thanks to his victories at numerous competitions and festivals in Russia, Europe, and performances in such TV projects as "International Star", "Voice", "Main Stage".

It was on the International Star project in 2007 that Artur created two hits “Hug me” and “Queen of Babylon”, and it was the organizers of this competition who insisted that Artur Petrosyan (real name of the artist) become Artur BEST.

In 2008, Arthur returned to Moscow again and took part in the selection of the popular international competition in Jurmala "New Wave", where he received positive feedback from the masters of Russian show business. However, it was not possible to take part in the festival itself for a variety of reasons.

In 2010, he released the album “Everything for You”, which consisted of almost nothing but hits, and now his songs are successfully heard on Vostok FM radio. In the same 2010, he shot a video for the song "One Hundred Nights". In 2011 he gave his first solo concert at the Moscow Concert Hall.

On June 2, 2013 he gave his second solo concert in the concert hall "Izvestia Holl". Since 2013, the song "Hug Me" has been in rotation on Radio Vostok, and later the composition "All for You" joined it.

In 2014, Arthur became a member of such television projects as "Voice" and "Main Stage".

April 29, 2015 in the concert hall of Nadezhda Babkina "Russian Song" the third solo concert with a symphony orchestra took place.

Since 2015, for a special contribution to charity, for active cooperation in cultural and aesthetic work, Arthur Best has been awarded medals, certificates and letters of thanks from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. Receives the title of "Honorary Citizen of Russia".

In 2016 he released his second solo album called "Artur Best 2016", thus establishing himself as a solo artist. In the same year, he was nominated for the title of "Best Armenian Artist" in the "BIG APPLE MUSIC AWARDS" award.

In 2017, a song was presented, which was written by Arthur Best and Daria Kuznetsova. A duet performed by two singers is either a complex ideological work or a bright creative idea.

"I'll steal her" - the song was performed by a duet: Arthur Best and Alexander Shoua (NEPARA)

2018 Chanson Awards of the Year 2018 in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The song "I'll steal her" fell in love with people, this shows not only the presence of the award, but also the satisfied spectators of the Kremlin Palace, they did not hold back their emotions and sang along with Arthur
